About Queensland Museum Foundation

The Queensland Museum Foundation was established in August 2003 to identify and secure resources to assist the Queensland Museum in achieving its goals and to ensure continuity of the high standard of research, care of the State collections and service delivery for which it is renowned.

In the 2006 – 2007 financial year alone the Foundation received over $2.8 million in donations and pledges in support of the many projects underway at the various campuses of the Queensland Museum.

The most generous support of our corporate and individual donors and sponsors is further supplemented by a matching subsidy from the Queensland Government.

The Foundation is administered by a group of Trustees under the Chairmanship of Mr David Liddy, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer and of Bank of Queensland Limited.

Through its exhibitions, research, events, public programs and other services the Queensland Museum reaches out to all Queenslanders. The Foundation fosters meaningful and rewarding personal and corporate partnerships and offers you the opportunity for closer association with this much-loved institution the Queensland Museum.

We invite you to share with us by becoming a member of the Queensland Museum Foundation. All gifts over $2 are tax deductible and may be directed to the program, project or campus of your choice.

We assure you that your gift will be used wisely, with discretion and in accordance with your wishes.
